CALENDAR OF EVENTS

• Thursday evening will be a Welcome Party at Linda Chew’s home, 2435 Mayfield Terrace starting at 5:30 PM. Food and drink are provided. The dress is casual .
• Friday daytime—Suggested Activities: TopGolf is back on the agenda, (contact Gary Underwood underga07@comcast.com  or (713) 454-9389 for more information). Friday afternoon at 2 pm, 365 Vin Rambla Dr. it is in the general area of Mesa St between Executive Center and the Sunland Park freeway exits. You will need to Google or GPS for directions.  El Paso Museum of Art (1 Arts Festival Plaza),  El Paso Museum of History (510 Santa Fe Plaza), El Paso Holocaust Museum (715 N. Oregon), ride the retro street car from downtown to UTEP (hop on, hop off), La Nube Children’s Museum which is fun for adults too! (201 W. Main Dr.), Scenic Drive, La Posta or Double Eagle restaurants in Old Mesilla, visit wineries on Route 28, visit your favorite restaurant or try one of El Paso’s many new ones. Jackie Culbert Dean has offered to drive a small group to Palomas, MX for a day trip to the Pink Store for lunch and shopping (Mexican art and crafts). You will need a passport.

• Friday evening will be a Tamale Fest at Karen Peugh-Guido’s home, 6434 Belton Road at 6 or 6:30 PM. Food and mixers provided, and BYOB. The dress is casual.
• Saturday morning School Tour we are planning to meet at the Sanders Street entrance (5400 Sanders Street) for a walking tour of the IHS campus  at 9:00 AM to be followed by lunch at 11:00 AM at Casita Linda Mexican Restaurant at 5315 Hondo Pass Drive, near Railroad Drive (self-pay).

• Cerveza Fest and Battle of the Bands 2:00-10:00pm

El Paso County Coliseum 4100 E. Paisano Dr. For those of you who would like to attend this fun Beer and Music Festival for a few hours before our Reunion Dinner, or if you’re skipping our dinner. $10

• Saturday evening 
  • Cocktail hour only--$30 at Hotel Indigo at 5:00 to 6:00 PM    the dress is business casual
  • Main Event dinner and cocktail hour--$110 at Hotel Indigo from 6:00--9:00 PM
  • After dinner, there will be live music in the Bar area. It is not exclusive to our group, but they play Oldies and it’s free!
  • Where to park downtown:  Parking at the Indigo is $21 if over 2 hours, Street Parking Meters are free n the weekends, the City Employee Park Lot on the corner of Main St and Kansas  St are open and free after 5:00 pm, Wells Fargo Building Parking Garage at 222 N. Kansas St is $10 for 24 hour parking – it is on Kansas between Mills and Texas Ave.
• Sunday will be Brunch at West Texas Chop House, 1135 Airway Blvd near Interstate 10.  Order off the menu (self-pay), and will start at 11:00 AM
